EVENING

As the days grow shorter I'm reminded that I quite like the winter evening. The dim light and the yellow glow of street lights make our world not quite ours anymore. Theres a different energy from the day time. A chill in the air and those few drops of rain. But there is a downside to the colder months of the year. This penguin is just not used the the cold (and there you were thinking I should love the cold). I just can not stand the cold, the wind that blows through all the layers you put on to chill you to the bone. This should be a powerful reminder that I need to stock up on some winter clothing before its too late. Some how I don't think I will.
